I'm finally getting the time to blog some of the trips we've taken this summer.
And Disneyland comes first!
Going to Disneyland with your own kids is a million times better than going when you are a kid.
Watching them get so excited over every little thing really is magical.
We've been lucky to already go so many times with our boys.
Saying we had fun would be a complete understatement.
We first drove to Mesquite for a few days to relax and swim.
We went down to pool every single day(sometimes twice a day)
But when its 110+ degrees out, that's what you do!
My mom also came up for a day and it was so nice to visit with her!
A few days later, we were off to Disneyland!
Brons, the boys and I went with my father in law, sister in law and her friend,
so it was a full car on the drive down.
We woke up the next morning and were at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Of course the first thing the boys wanted to do was go to... can you guess?
Car's Land!
We went and took pictures with Lightning Mcqueen, rode the rides,
and went and saw the Cars 3 preview they had.
This got Danny so excited for the movie that was going to be coming out in a few weeks!
After that, we tried to hit all the rides we could and both boys loved all of them!
We got to see Woody from Toy Story
and I'm pretty sure that was the highlight of Brody's trip.
The whole time we waited in line to see him, Brody couldn't stay still
and couldn't stop pointing and screeching at him.
Danny was a little hesitant, but still loved it.
I'm so glad both boys were able to see their favorite characters.
Since before we even got to Disneyland, Danny could not stop talking about seeing the fireworks.
The night we decided to stay late and watch them, Danny had fallen asleep in the stroller
right before they started. We tried so hard to wake him up but he was a tired boy!
Brody was still awake and absolutely loved them!
For the most part, the boys didn't really have too many meltdowns luckily.
The one time they did, I was watching the boys while the others went a bigger ride.
Both Danny and Brody were ready for a nap but sitting in the stroller was the last thing they wanted to do. Once I got them out, they were just so tired and would not calm down and stop crying.
Pluto even came over with some workers trying to help and make the boys feel better but they would not stop screaming. My face was bright red the entire time and everyone that passed us was staring and pointing at us. After a while, the sweetest worker came over and gave the boys a free bag of popcorn and they instantly calmed down!
I was so grateful to this lady! Not too much later, Brons and his dad came out of the ride to help out.
That is really the only big tantrum either of them threw the whole time
so I would call that a huge success!
Here a few more pictures from our trip!
Walking into Disneyland Day 1! He was so excited!
My father in law was the sweetest for helping out with the boys so much so Brons and I could go on some bigger rides as well. They love Papa Pace!
When the kids are worn out, you know it was a good time right?
Thanks for reading!
Love,
The Paces
