Happy 2016!

Happy New Year!
Before we get too into January, I wanted to do a quick recap of  December.
December is always such a fun month because of the obvious.
Christmas!
Then there is my birthday, and just all the fun holiday activities!

We started out the month with my birthday.
We had a lot of fun!
Bronson took me out to dinner, we then went and did some shopping in Layton and at Station Park.
A few days later, my parents took us out to Tepanyaki, which is my absolute favorite!
I think we have gone there every single year for my birthday!
The following week Danny modeled for the cutest baby shoe company, Piper Finn.
It was at a studio in SLC with 5 other kids running around as all us parents were trying to keep them posed!
It was so fun though, plus we got some pretty cute pictures out of it!
For you mamas, go check our Piper Finn on instagram, because their shoes really are so adorable!
This month, we got so much snow!
It was so pretty and made it feel like "Christmas-time"
After one of the first big snow storms we got, we had to take Danny out right away!
He wasn't so sure at first, but as soon as we started pulling him on the sled, he loved it!
That is, until he face planted right in snow probably 30 seconds after I took this picture. Haha
Total mom fail.
One thing we like to do every year, is go to Christmas Village in Ogden.
It was absolutely freezing, but we had fun and Danny loved pointing at all the lights and little houses!
I think he had more fun walking around with Grandpa than with Bronson and I.
What kind of mom would I be if I didn't get a picture of Danny in a Santa hat?
Just kidding, but he did look pretty dang cute in it!
Christmas Eve, everyone came over to my in-laws
and we exchanged sibling presents and went and played in the snow!
My sister-in-law got Danny and soon to be baby brother the cutest, matching Nikes!
I can't wait for springtime for him to be here so they can wear them together!
I already have gotten some matching outfits for them to wear.
Danny's first snowmobile ride.
After that, we headed up to my parents house.
They have this hunting game on their Xbox that we are all kind of obsessed with everytime we go over, so we played that, ate pizza and relaxed!
Christmas morning, we woke up and went upstairs to wait by the tree!
It was really fun this year to open presents with Bronson's parents and two sisters.
Danny loved ripping wrapping paper off all of his presents.
He would get excited over each present, then get really frustrated until you opened it up for him.
Even though he doesn't understand it yet, Christmas-time is so much more fun with kids!
I can't wait for next year when we have two little boys Christmas morning!
My parents spoiled him with trucks, and this electronic rocking horse that he loves!
They also got us this awesome double stroller I have been wanting!
As we were driving home Christmas day, Bronson turned on the Christmas music,
and Danny immediately plugged his ears. Haha
He was obviously ready for it to be over!
Overall, we were spoiled this Christmas!
Danny got more toys than he can handle,
mostly trucks and cars of course!
He got some golf clubs that he uses at least 10 times a day,
lots of clothes and more!
Bronson got a fitbit, drone, golf shoes, clothes and more!
I got my double stroller, makeup, perfume and clothes.

A few days after Christmas, we drove down to Mesquite for a week!
This is the view from the backyard!
The boys went golfing 3 times which was heaven for them!
On the second day of being there, Danny got the stomach flu.
It was so sad! He was up all night throwing up,
and just wanted to cuddle the whole next day.(I kind of loved the cuddling part)
Luckily it was only a 24 hour bug, but then I got it the very next day.
Since then, everyone on Bronson's side has been sick but him.
Knock on wood.
Before going back to Utah,
we went to Vegas to visit my mom and sisters.
Luckily Danny and I were all better by then!
We had Christmas with them, went to lunch and then mini-golfing.
My mom got Danny the cutest tricycle that he already loves.
He either wants us to push him around in it, or pushes it around on his own.
As of now,
Bronson is close to done with sending in applications for law school and should start to hear back from schools in February or March!
I'm already almost 30 weeks pregnant!
This pregnancy had flown by.
Baby boy is already so active and I love feeling him move all day long!
He is so much more active than Danny ever was in my belly.
Believe it or not, this one might be even MORE active than Danny.
We will definitely have our hands full!
I'm already almost two weeks into my third trimester, and I'm starting to get really tired and really big!
Today, I painted my toes, and it took me 3x as long because of how hard it is to reach my toes.
We are getting so excited to meet this little guy and for him and Danny to be best friends!

Danny is almost 16 months and is so much fun.
He's starting to talk more and more everyday.
He has the cutest personality.
He loves to make people laugh and to give kisses and hugs.
He definitely has a mischievous side to him too.
Basically he and Bronson have the exact same personality and I love it!
Danny has always been very anti-sleep.
He still doesn't sleep through the night on a regular basis,
and lately he usually just ends up in bed with us.
As I'm typing this, its 10:30pm.
Danny is laying on our bed at my feet, where he finally just barely fell asleep watching Cars.
Sometimes I stress that's not the "norm", or he should be putting himself to sleep by now,
 or other dumb things.
But babies are only little once, soon he won't want to cuddle us anymore
and I know I'm going to miss it.
And waking up to his sweet face is really the best thing in the world.
That's all for now! Thanks for reading!
Love,
             The Paces
