Our New Home

Since moving to Moscow,
we have done so many new things.
It's been alot of fun to explore a new place!
It is so beautiful here! I think we say it almost every day.
There are so many trees everywhere you go and everything is so green.
It is starting to look more like fall though, so all the trees are changing and I love it.
We moved during the first week of August,
so Bronson had about two weeks to settle in before starting law school
at the University of Idaho.
We fully took advantage of having him home all the time,
because we knew law school would be busy.
And it's probably busier than we expected! But I'll get into that later.
We went to the aquatic center quite a few times,

and we still try to go to the Farmer's Market every Saturday.

Another fun activity we have done a couple times is go to the arboretum that is on campus.
It's so pretty there! There are a bunch of trees and flowers that are from other climates and countries!
There is a trail around and through the whole thing, so we usually just go and
let Danny run around and look at all the pretty plants!

Moscow is a very family-friendly town, so there are so many parks around.
Lately the boys and I have been going to the park a couple times a week
with one of our neighbors and her kids.
Her little boy, Hudson is Danny's age and is just as energetic as him.
They have so much fun together! He's always asking to go play with Hudson at the park.
It's been so fun to watch Danny make a friend!

It's crazy we've only lived here for two months, because the boys have changed so much!
Danny is now two!
His birthday was October 1st and it was such a great day!
The weekend of his birthday, was Homecoming weekend at the University
so there were so many activities going on.
The night before, there were fireworks we could see from our back porch.
The morning of his birthday was a parade with more candy than Danny could ever want!
He filled his hoodie and pants pockets, and my diaper bag!
We later then went to the football game at the UofI!

Danny slept through the first quarter, then decided he was starving and wanted to go home after the second, but it was still a good time!
That night, we ate pizza, opened presents and ate birthday cupcakes!

Danny is now talking constantly which is so fun!
He has the funniest personality and is always trying to make everyone laugh
and always trying to be sneaky and get away with things.
He still is our anti-sleeper! I'm not sure the last time Brons and I slept through the night.
So if any of you have any tips, help a mama out!
He still LOVES Lightning McQueen and has also been loving Toy Story lately.
We love that boy!
Brody will be seven months in about a week.
He has gotten so big and is just about in 12 month clothes already!
He still is an awesome sleeper and napper.
He is constantly babbling. He likes to say mama, baba, and blah blah.
He is so close to crawling! But rolls everywhere.
He will roll across the room to get a toy instead of trying to crawl!
Every time he wakes up from a nap, he likes to cuddle for a good 20 min. Who wouldn't love that?
He still is always smiling and laughing, I didn't know babies that happy existed!
We love our Brody!
Bronson has now been in law school for about two months!
Law school is a crazy ride guys.
Bronson is such a hard worker! I'm so proud of him.
Law school takes a lot of time, work and coffee.
He leaves at 7am and stays unil about 7pm lately on week days.
Weekends he is gone most of the day too.
I can't imagine having to do all that work, but he is always so positive!
He is really liking what he is learning which is good!
There is a golf course pretty close to the law school, so every once a while
he'll take a break and go hit a bucket of balls, which he loves!
He's doing so well in school and I couldn't be more proud!
I've been loving being a stay at home mom!
It definitely can be hard at times, but it is so worth it
and I'm so lucky I'm able to be home with the boys.
We have started a couple traditions with our little family which is fun!
Every Friday, is when we go out to restaurant for dinner.
We have been trying to go to a new place every week, but to be honest,
we have gone to this Mongolian Grill for the last two weeks and I don't think we'll stop.

Most Saturdays, we get up and go get Dutch Bro's coffee (which is delicious if you haven't gone)
and then go over to the theater on Main Street that plays Saturday morning cartoons,
then we go walk through the Farmer's Market!
We really are enjoying living here!
I'm excited to explore and do more new things with my boys.
I'll add some more pictures below!
About a month ago, the fire department had a false alarm at the one of the apartments near us.
Instead of leaving, they stayed for a good hour to just hang out with the neighborhood kids and let them try on their fire fighter gear and sit in the firetruck. Danny was in heaven!
One of the new restaurants we tried is Last Frontier Pizza,
and it might have been the best pizza I've ever had
Brons and Brody looking off our back deck.
 Brody at 6 months.
WSU has a bear center. There are probably about 10 grizzly bears that you can go watch whenever you want! It's a fun place to take the boys that's only 15 minutes away!

A couple weeks ago, Brody and Danny both got sick. Even though they didn't feel well, they were so sweet. They layed on the couch almost all day together and watched Tarzan on repeat!

Every time we get into the car, it's a struggle to get Danny in his carseat because all he wants to is drive! Once we're parked, I let him "drive" every once in a while.

Have I mentioned how lucky I am to have this guy by my side?
 Thanks for reading everyone!

Love,
               The Paces
